What Shape are Raindrops ?

Have you ever think that, what is the actual shape of the raindrops? Well, contrary to popular conception , raindrops don't look like tears. Their real shape depends on the size of the drop. A raindrop will take the shape shown as drop (A) when it is less than about 2 mm in diameter. Larger drops tend to be shaped like (B).
